A database record is locked only when it is being updated (written to disk). If two or more users try to update the same database record, then only the first one accessing it will be able to update it. The others will have to wait until the record is un-locked and this field specifies the the number of times Modem Base Pro will re-try to access a locked database record. NORMALLY THIS IS LEFT BLANK.
